The Resurrection

Glenn Kaiser hails from Wisconsin. Though life was hard for him growing up there, by 18, he learned guitar to his satisfaction and started worshipping Hendrix and then drugs; eventually, though, his life changed through religious awakening and The Resurrection (COMMONLY known as REZ). They’ll be appearing at Florida’s Cotee River Bike Fest 2022 to share their message.

REZ was formed during the height of the Jesus People USA movement in Chicago during the late ’60s. Composed of vocalists Glenn and Wendi Kaiser, bass player Jim Denton, keyboardist Stu Heiss, and drummer John Herrin, Resurrection established itself as an attractive rock act while channeling all profits back into the Jesus People USA community.

Trenton first joined Resurrection a few years ago when their regular bassist had to miss an engagement due to a snowstorm in Houston. Intrigued by classic rock music, Trenton quickly offered his services as a fill-in bassist. Following an outstanding performance with Resurrection that night, Resurrection offered him permanent membership – something Trenton considers his best decision ever!
