You’re about to discover the secrets to earning multiple six-figure incomes while still having time to do what you enjoy. This is a fascinating topic because we will blow the roof off and break through those glass ceilings you’ve set for yourself.
This is the topic for you if:
You’re sick of worrying about money.
You’re frustrated because you’re not living up to your full potential.
You’re tired of feeling held back and not knowing why. You know you could take your business to the next level, but you’re tired of sabotaging yourself. You’ve done well in the past and want to bring your business up to speed.
You’re sick of making the economy an excuse.
You are ready to break through your barriers and create many opportunities. 2011 Earnings in the Six Figures
I used to be where you are now. I was stumped as to how to get more clients. I was confused about how to generate more leads and fill my pipeline. I felt the frustration and stress many of you are experiencing right now, not knowing how to get my business back on track.
I’ve been on your journey and realized it all started with me. Even though I tried to blame my success on the economy, competition, or personal events, I didn’t begin succeeding until I accepted full responsibility for my life. In other words, with the help of coaches and mentors, I was able to break free from the victim mentality that held me back from changing my income. I had to let go of the notion that the economy, the marketplace, or anything else outside me determined my success.
In other words, by seeking outside assistance and going within, I was able to win the “inner game of success,” which made all the difference. My inner programming was altered as a result of coaching. Instead of adhering to an old paradigm that did not allow me to reach my full potential, I learned to let go and install new software on my mental computer. I created new Empowered beliefs for myself.
The first thing to realize is that you can only be as successful as your inner programming allows.
Assume you want to make a new year’s resolution that 2011 will be your best year yet. However, the part of you making that resolution is your conscious mind, which is only responsible for 2% of the outcomes in your life. That is why it is so common for people to make New Year’s resolutions and then abandon them.
The remaining 98% is your subconscious mind. The subconscious mind is full of self-limiting beliefs about yourself and your ability to succeed. Unless you have an inner image of yourself as successful, it will not manifest on the outer level, or if it does, you will find a way to sabotage it.
The second thing to understand is that the most recent brain research indicates that we have been programming circuits in our brains since childhood and are entirely unaware of them.
I was working with a client who recently discovered that she was programmed to think of herself as “defective.” She struggled as a real estate agent for years but never got anywhere in her business until she worked with me. Within a short period, it became clear to both of us that if she were to be successful, she would need to reprogram the belief that she was defective and many other self-limiting beliefs she had developed as a child.
In summary, you must determine the source of faulty programming and when you first began to believe false things about yourself, such as:
To be okay, I need to be perfect.
I’m not intelligent enough to succeed.
I can’t seem to get what I want out of my life.
If I ask for what I want, I will be turned down.
Adding an affirmation on top of a self-limiting belief isn’t enough. I’d be like putting a Band-Aid over an infected wound. This is where many people go wrong; they use affirmations, which appear to work for a while, but eventually, the old beliefs resurface because they were never erased.
These limiting beliefs about yourself are not your fault. You are responsible for locating and extracting those beliefs, so they do not ruin your life.
The next thing to realize is that if you’ve been telling yourself, “I know what I should be doing; I’m just not doing it,” you’re carrying extra baggage weighing you down.
There are two types of coaching: accountability coaching and mindset coaching. If you’ve had any coaching, it’s most likely been accountability coaching. Many real estate gurus offer weekend seminars and accountability programs to learn their system.
These accountability coaching programs are not without merit. Many of them teach you how to prospect, how to have powerful scripts when speaking with prospective clients, how to build referral systems, and a variety of other skills required to be a successful real estate agent.
However, most people enroll in these accountability coaching programs before they have cleared their minds of self-limiting beliefs. My clients didn’t have anyone to help them discover their self-limiting beliefs, release them, and replace them with updated empowered ideas like:
I am more than capable.
Success comes quickly and effortlessly to me; I make money by working smarter, not harder; I provide a valuable service, and people are pleased to hear from me.
Mindset Coaching has an advantage over Accountability Coaching in this regard. There will be no stopping you once those new beliefs are implanted in your subconscious mind. Then you’ll realize that success depends entirely on maintaining a positive pro-success mindset. In other words, mindset coaching can assist you in “winning the inner game of success.”
