St. Thomas/St.John Underground Utilities has helped power the U.S. Virgin Islands — and the rest of the Caribbean — for the last two decades.
The company — which is based in St. Thomas — provides an impressive array of electrical services, specializing in medium- and high-voltage work. In supplying all the devices, material and installation required for any job, St. T/St. J Underground Utilities has the entire region wired.
"We have always provided a turnkey electrical system to our customers," said Davis Registe, manager and operating partner for St. T/St. J Underground Utilities. "We have a vast amount of experience in all administration, management, installation and supervision of commercial underground utilities and industrial electrical systems."
Registe is particularly proud of his company's spotless service record and the depth of experience at every level of the business.
"We have never left a project incomplete or delayed in time due to our project management skills and our committed devotion to please our customers," he said. "Also, we have over 50 years of combined electrical experience between our manager, foremen, engineers and safety personnel."
St. T/St. J Underground Utilities has been operating for 17 years. Though the company is based out of the U.S. Virgin Islands, it has taken its services all across the Caribbean.
Having already established a strong reputation, Registe is excited about what comes next, which includes expanding the sale of products around the world.
"We are currently opening a telecommunications department to broaden our services, and we are sending all technicians to training to keep them up to date and certified in all the electrical areas we perform," Registe said. "Our sales department is continuously expanding, and is looking to supply and install solar panels and systems.
"At this moment, we are only installing the systems, but we are in negotiations with a solar manufacturer to become a certified distributor."
