If you're planning a trip to Tampa this weekend, remember to put the 23rd Annual Hyde Park Village Art Fair on your list of things to do.

This fabulous two-day event which will take place March 24-25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. is a must-see for people who enjoy any kind of art. There will be more than 150 artists from 30 states displaying a wide variety of works, including impressive life-size sculptures, fantastic paintings, unique jewels, interesting ceramics and photography. Admission is also completely free!

The fashionable area of Hyde Park Village in downtown Tampa is the ideal backdrop for this popular, outdoor festival. The neighborhood offers fantastic shopping and dining facilities, and has a great variety of nightly entertainment. All of the artwork on display — lining Swann and Dakota avenues will be original and handmade in the United States.

Festival promoter Howard Alan describes the jury process as cautious and selective, ensuring a varied and comprehensive combination of styles and media that appeal to a wide range of art enthusiasts. The participating artists have been carefully selected from hundreds of applicants by an independent panel.
