BOYNES TRUCKING SYSTEM — A PREMIER ST. JOHN FAMILY BUSINESS

By Arielle Waldman

US Virgin Islands

James Boynes knows the importance of family.

In 1981, he began working in his family's ferry business, where he served as a captain. By 1997, Boynes had broken away and established a rapidly-growing family business of his own with Boynes Trucking System.

Today, his company thrives on loyal customer relationships. For example, Boynes has maintained his captain's license to keep customers happy in case a last minute-deadline pops up.

Boynes Trucking System specializes in hauling and customs-clearance services. Their wide array of resources allows them to provide services for Starfish Market, the largest grocery store in St. John. They also offer storage, 24-hour customer service, moving supplies and more.

If you see a truck cruising down the pristine island of St. John, it probably has Boynes written across the side.
