Some of the top junior athletes from across the Bahamas are set to participate in the Club Monica Athletics 9th Annual Track & Field Classic. The two-day competition will take place Feb. 17-18 at the Thomas A. Robinson National Stadium in Nassau.

Past CARIFTA Games have produced world record holders, including Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt who also carries the distinction of being the World's Fastest Man. Bermuda is scheduled to host this year's CARIFTA Games in April and features athletes in two categories: under-17 and under-20.
Competion on Friday night will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a noon start the following day.
